Texaco released the 2nd ERTL bank, "1926 Mack Tanker" Bulldog Metal Diecast Truck in 1985. It features a locking coin bank with key! It is also a bank where the key is molded to a small panel that can be removed from under the bed of the truck to retrieve coins from the tanker storage compartment. This metal diecast bank toy was originally priced at $6.99 with a production run of 5000 pieces Stock #9238UO. This is a replica of a 1926 Mack Bull Dog Chain Driven Tanker. And these have been released on a yearly basis since this model was introduced as a promotion for kids and adult collectors at local Texaco gas stations. These toys are well made and very colorful as well as detailed. Bright fire engine red with a white tanker, this highly collectible model. This will make a great addition to any Collection.
