The 2013 Hess Truck and motorized multi-terrain tractor is just awesome. What else would you expect from Hess? This year’s truck and toy combination features a heavy-duty Hess Truck that is all white with Hess green colored fenders, chrome wheels with red accents. The tractor has a full cab and a trailer which carries its motorized multi-terrain tractor. Interestingly the tractor is white with a generous portion of green used on the tractor and its entire infrastructure making the green coloration very pronounced. The rims on the tractor threads are accented in red to match the truck. There is a similarity with this year’s truck from an end loader perspective with the 2008 Hess toy truck and front end loader.

 

The features of this year’s truck in particular included 45 lights that will flash or remain steady. There are four realistic sounds that are very cool; they include the sounds of the ignition and idle, horn, backup alert, and hydraulic lift. It also features a hidden extended rear loading ramp that has sound effects. With respect to the toy tractor its features are equally as impressive as the vehicle that carries it. First the tractor is self-propelled and can be set to travel forward or in reverse motion. The green colored bucket on the front of the tractor can be locked and it has a release button. The back bucket can swivel a full 360 degrees and there are 15 working lights accented with front head lights accented in chrome.

 

As with all Hess toy trucks, the 2013 edition includes Energizer Batteries for free for both the truck and tractor.
