It’s 2013 and Hess released their Holiday Hess Truck with motorized tractor. So what’s so different this year you ask? Well it’s not the 45 working lights, all the chrome and Hess green and white colors we have grown to recognize.  It’s not the cool backup sirens or the hydraulic ramp or even the fact that the tractor can go forward or backwards with its super cools threads.

 

What is exciting this year and what is another first since the first Hess truck rolled out in 1964 is the Hess app! That’s right for the first time Hess released the 2013 Hess Tractor Trek. This app is available for Apple, Android, and the Kindle Fire. What’s nice is you can play with this app even if you didn’t buy the Hess truck. But if you did by the 2013 Hess truck you get starting points.

In Hess Tractor Trek, players take control of the Hess Tractor and plow their way through the most difficult terrain on Earth, clearing the roads for future travelers and stopping off at Hess Express stations along the way.

 

Covering great distances, unearthing clearable terrain and pulling off light stunts earns you valuable HESS CASH. Use this cash to upgrade your vehicle, purchase new tractor bodies and purchase short-term perks that improve your performance and earning potential. (And if you have the physical toy truck, fire up the app and honk its horn to unlock a secret upgrade stash!)

 

But be careful: if you don’t move fast enough, you’ll run out of fuel.
